Die Bücher sind toll zu lesen.
Aber leider sind nur einige in deutsch übersetzt worden ., das finde ich nicht gut.Ich habe auch nicht die Zeit die Bücher zu übersetzen
Das finde ich echt traurig !
Weil man doch wissen will wie es weitergeht !

This book states it is book 1 of THE MACKINTOSHES AND MCLARENS, but this starts off where FREDERICK'S QUEEN: THE CLAN GRAHAM SERIES. It is confusing to a reader if you think you are purchasing the first book of a series, to find out it really isn't. Granted I read it somewhere, but just wanted anyone who may have missed that news that you will be somewhat lost without reading Fredrick's Queen first.

Now, I must admit I loved this book better than Fredrick's Queen. There is more action, suspense, intrigue, and a great story.

Loved the main character's, both were strong and caring people. I enjoyed the banter between them. It was a joy to meet up with the character's from the Graham series too.

This book has more passion and it is almost a clean read as far as the lovemaking. The actual act, is not described, behind closed doors, but some mild foreplay (very mild) if you are use to romance stories.

There was a question at the end of Fredrick's Queen, that was unanswered and I wrote about it in my review for that book. But, it is answered in the beginning of this one.

We get HEA, many surprises, no cliffhanger, great story telling and I am on to the next book of the series. (ljb)

It was a bit slow in the beginning, became more interesting around the last third of the book. Did not like the constant bedroom sex description, it’s way too much. Good book to spend time on.

I loved “Ian’s Rose”. Thank you, Suzan for another keeper. I was given an advance copy to write an honest review. It was great to catch up on characters from other books; we have all come to know them throughout her stories. You may want to read “Frederick’s Queen” as it will help understand some of the storyline but it can be read a stand-alone. The interaction between Ian and Rose when they argued was entertaining but you knew they were very deeply in love. Rose had spirit and determination, she was a strong woman. You saw Ian’s doubts about himself but his growth as a leader. They each had their insecurities but they learned to overcome together. You will become so involved in the story you will swear you are there. I loved the new secondary characters she introduced and I’m looking forward to hearing more about them in her next books, especially some in particular in “The Bowie’s Bride”, her next book. Thank you, Suzan for a way to escape my stressful life for a little while. You can never go wrong buying one her books.
