This is a typical EVA case. It offers some protection from dirt and bumps, but it is not a hard protection case like ABS or fiberglass. A small camera or power pack or a portable SSD drive could fit in there, but maybe not a full-sized portable disc drive.

This case fits my Mirabox game capture card along with all of the cables that I need to use the card. The outer shell is sturdy and slightly flexible, and it looks pretty nice. The interior has a mesh pocket in the lid to hold cables and smaller accessories. There's a felt flap separating the top and bottom shells, presumably to keep any accessories from scratching the capture card in the bottom compartment. It has plenty of room for what I need.

It comes with a large nylon hand strap that is permanently fixed to the case, and I wish that it were detachable. It's a minor annoyance, mainly because I don't need it, but it certainly doesn't detract from the functionality of this case.

I have a bunch of small gear and am always looking for quality cases to protect it. I used this case for an SBox and it fits and protects perfectly! The zipper is smooth. It is build for light protection, meaning it would crush under heavy weight, but is definitely strong enough to protect the contents if it's just thrown around a bit.

I also love the pockets to store the cords. Just a great little case.
